While much of our interaction these days takes place in the digital world, there are still times when you need to create something physical to give to a client or customer. I have a great deal of experience with the needs and requirements of print design and some of the items I’ve created in the past include:
- business cards and letterhead
- brochures – single-sided or tri-fold
- newspaper and magazine advertisements
- posters
- postcards
- bookmarks
- annual report covers
Case in point: Designed to make your mouth water
Vancouver is a great city for food and I’ve been fortunate in the past few years to have had the chance to try many of the wonderful restaurants that just keep popping up around town.
When Yutaka Japanese Cuisine was preparing for their grand opening, they asked me to create a number of print materials for them. These included their dining and take-out menu as well as a large poster that was displayed outside the store while it was being renovated. I particularly enjoyed creating the menus as I loved the idea of something I had made being part of a customer’s fun night out, although I had quite the craving for Japanese food by the time I was done.
For more examples of the print work I’ve done, see the Portfolio section of the website. If you’ve got a print project that you’d like some help with, please contact me.
