Brand New Websites

I like to think of websites as little pieces of real estate out on the web and it’s my job to build you a “home” on that plot of land. It is a home that speaks to who you are and what you stand for, and it’s instantly inviting to your clients and customers. A good website should be something that you’re proud of and that you’re comfortable updating yourself—whether you’re relatively new to the web or an old pro.

Like a contractor working with fresh, new homeowners, I work tirelessly with my clients to ensure that their home on the web is everything that they need it to be.

All new websites include:
  • Working with the client to determine needed features and site structure
  • One or more design mock-ups prior to building the site
  • Loading the site with the initial content
  • Installation of Google Analytics to monitor traffic to the website
  • Training the client in the use of their site
Optional services include:
  • Social media integration
  • Email mailing list integration
  • Content writing including search engine optimization
  • A PDF manual for those administering the website with screenshots and step-by-step instructions

Case in Point: Starting from Scratch

As a brand new restaurant, Yutaka Japanese Cuisine (www.yutakacuisine.com) needed a web presence that was guaranteed to make a splash from the moment they opened their doors. Visually it had to tell the story of the restaurant—fun and classy with lots of great food—as well as convey all the informational essentials such as the menu and location. Like the restaurant itself, this site is still quite young with areas such as News and Entertainment that are still waiting to be fully grown into. Nonetheless, a site like this one ensures that Yutaka has a foothold on the web from the very start.
